Nozomi Offsite 2025 – Momentum: Building Our Future Together

This month, our team – now with more than 40 members joining, we are growing fast! – came together for our annual offsite with the year’s gathering carrying the theme “Momentum”. It was a terrific opportunity to reflect on where we’ve been, align on where we’re going, and deepen our bonds as a team.

Strengthening Our Strategic Alignment and Commitment to Our Communities

Kicking things off, I shared updates to strengthen alignment on our mid-term strategy and reaffirm the key priorities guiding Nozomi’s growth. Following this, we discussed how we can better engage with local communities through Community Investment Programs (CIPs), brainstorming concrete ideas to create a lasting, positive impact on people’s lives.
We also took the opportunity to reiterate the importance of maintaining a safe and healthy workplace. Occupational health and safety management remains our unwavering priority, and we reconfirmed our commitment to making it a defining element of everything we do.

Vision From Actis

We also heard from the Actis team, who provided an update on Nozomi’s progress and the value drivers they see for the next phase. They highlighted the priorities that will shape our path forward, focusing on the areas that will drive Nozomi’s continued growth and value creation. It was a clear message confirming their continued support for Nozomi’s future direction.

Growing Together — Team Building (Curling Edition!)

With so many new faces in the past year, we dedicated time to get to know each other better. One of the highlights? Trying out curling for the first time. For many of us, it was a completely new sport — and watching who were left-handed was a fun surprise! It was laughter, strategy, and teamwork all in one. It was great to see the competitive spirit in each and everyone of us.

Adventure & Discovery — Mission Hiking

We also hit the trails in our “mission hiking” challenge. Split into small groups, we set out to find different species in the wild and perform group activities ranging from a jump photo to solving riddles. It was a refreshing workout, and sharing that time outdoors helped us bond in a different way. The fresh air, the challenge, and the discovery made it a truly memorable experience.

Carrying Our Momentum Forward

The “Momentum” offsite wasn’t just a break from the daily grind — it was a powerful reset. We left more connected to one another and deeply reminded of our responsibility and our vision.

Here’s to carrying that momentum into the year ahead, and as I always say, “the best is yet to come.”
